Ricecon - New Mechanical & Electrical Division

Ricecon Ltd have expanded their portfolio with the addition of a Mechanical & Engineering division by employing the services of Neil Horton. Neil Joins Ricecon with over 20 years experience & is well known within the water and waste water industry. Neil has enjoyed success with clients such as Severn Trent Water, Thames Water Utilities and Kelda Water. Neil's initial remit will be responsibility for scheme delivery for Enterprise in Severn Trent Water's western division.

Young Employee Development Programme

Conroys in line with their policy for employee development have recently enrolled 5 students on a City & Guilds Apprenticeship scheme for 'CONSTRUCTION IN HIGHWAYS' which has been developed by Allenby Training of Lincoln and is assesed by the Construction Awards Alliance.

Conroys with Trials in Southampton

A small team from Conroys are trialing a fully mechanised approach using a Suction Excavator to assist the rapid replacement of Meter Boxes on the Southern Water Contract for Balfour Beatty in Southampton.

New Gas Contracts 2011-2012

Conroys make good progress and are ahead of programme with new gas contracts in Torquay & Brixham for clients Wales & West.
